At Orientation

Hello from beautiful Virginia !!! We arrived last week....the Lord graciously allowed us safe travel right before the ice storm swept the midsection of our nation. We have had some cold, frosty mornings with breathtaking views! This lake sits just below our home while we are here at orientation. All 4 of us began classes this week, and Kaleb and Arin have enjoyed their school and meeting all the new friends who, like them, are heading out to all parts of the globe to tell others about Jesus !!! Kaleb's favorite friend is a guinea pig named Snickers........we stop by his cage twice daily to feed him!
Arin's favorite part of her class is the play kitchen and the puzzles............we have a hard time getting her to leave at the end of each class day!
Our other favorite spot is, of course, the playgrounds --- yes, we have found 4 so far on the campus !!! And we still have some exploring to do !!!! Kaleb and Arin love to spin forever on the tire swing:
Aside from all the fun we are having, we have been richly blessed by the spiritual challenges and reminders we have been given already. We had an opportunity to spend a whole afternoon just with the Lord, and we are both thankful that we have a big God, who is the perfecter of our faith, to equip us for the overwhelming tasks before us !! The testimonies of God's provisions amidst great adversity and uncertainty among the people here are amazing..........we certainly have a great cloud of witnesses around us in this place. Please continue to pray for our spiritual preparation and for the preparation of hearts in Poland!
