Answered Prayers !!!

I am so excited to report to you great things God has done here in Krakow !!! We had asked that you pray for our football coaches here from Oklahoma conducting a football camp for multiple Polish American Football teams in our region of Poland. We had 3 teams represented in our camp. By the end of the 3 day camp, the devotion leader for the week shared with Albert that 16 Polish men testified to praying a prayer of salvation with him as he presented the Gospel !!! 9 of these men are from the Krakow Tigers team! There is much work to be done here in this city !! Albert is eager to meet with these guys one-on-one to have them clarify the decisions they made, encourage their spiritual growth from this point forward, and get them into some regular study of God's Word !
Please pray for clarity in these conversations, and wisdom for Albert to know how to minister to each of these men. We praise God for stirring in the hearts of these guys, the power behind the testimonies of our missionaries from Oklahoma, and a spiritual springboard from which to invest in these lives further !!!

Thank you for praying !!!

Below are some of the pic we captured. There will be more to come from one of the team members who documented everything on film !!!

The team from Oklahoma !! Thank you for giving of your time and money !!!

Attention Prayer Warriors........

Attention Prayer Warriors.......................

We have a team of 8 men arriving tonight in Krakow. These 8 men will have football camp with our Krakow Tigers Thursday and Friday evenings 6-9pm, then again on Saturday afternoon and evening. The Krakow Tigers have extended invitations to all the football teams in the Malopolskie region to come join in on this camp. The team has devotions/testimonies scheduled into every practice, and the plan of Salvation will be shared at the last meeting with these guys. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to be softening hearts to hear His truth.
This team has already been serving in 3 or 4 other countries, so we are certain they will be tired. But they already have some amazing testimony of how the Lord has been working through their sports camps in the past couple of weeks, and we are praying that God's hand will move mightily here as well.

Please join us in prayer !! Thank you for "holding the rope" from so far away !!!

June Events

We had a fun and eventful June!!!

As soon as we put our QSBC team on the plane, we picked the kids up from school and headed out of town to Wroclaw, Poland. The Krakow Tigers football team had their last season game in Wroclaw, and the Krakow Kings baseball team had a tournament on the same day in the same city. So we decided to make it a weekend as we cheered on our favorite Krakow athletes!

Here's the pregame prep, prayer, and our Tigers fighting the Wroclaw Devils:

After the Tigers' game, we made it just in time for the Kings' final game in the tournament! Here's coach Al giving the pre-game pep talk.......

Here's our troopers for the day.......they hung with us to the bitter end..........

Coach Al even had a chance to do a little catching and pitching in the final game......after our boys had secured their win........

The victory huddle !!!!!!!!...................................

They did a great job !! They won 2 of their 3 games and had the best score differential in the whole tournament. They really appreciated the baseball camp that our QSBC team did for them the week before this tournament because it made all the difference !!!!!

After our 'game marathon' day, we decided to stay in Wroclaw for another couple of days to enjoy some family time. Wroclaw is a beautiful city with many amazing sights !!! Here are a few................

This was American Father's Day. We found our Daddy a "SuperTata" ("SuperDaddy") shirt in the city center to celebrate him !!!!

Kaleb can always find the gummy treats!!! It never fails !!

Cathedral Island

This is Polish tradition.....when a new bridge is built, couples engrave their initials on a pad lock and together throw the key into the river below after securing their lock on the bridge railing.

The Krakow Tigers celebrated their best season yet in the A league !! We had alot to celebrate at the year end celebration. We are blessed to be able to work among these amazing young men.

We also had some year end celebrations at Kaleb and Arin's schools.
Here is Arin with her teachers, Pani Magda and Pani Agnieszka:

Here is Kaleb getting his first grade certificates from Pani Jadzia and Pani Agnieszka:

After the year end school celebrations, we got to celebrate Daddy again with Polish Father's Day......so we surprised him with our latest Krakow treasure: Nutter Butter Shake at a Coffee Shop near the city center.....................MMMMMMMM.............................

This same weekend, there was a Medieval festival near the Wawel Castle !! We got to see a jousting tournament and fancy medieval clothing................so fun !!!!

We ended our month with a fabulous Annual General Meeting in Wisla, Poland. This annual meeting is a chance for us to get together with all of our colleagues serving in central Europe. We had training seminars, worship in English, and time to fellowship with each other. Our kids got blessed with an American-style VBS from a volunteer team from East Cooper Baptist Church in South Carolina. We also had tons of fun in the hotel waterpark daily. It was so much fun, that I took only a few blury pictures all week. So sorry............but we did leave a mark on Wisla............Arin lost her second front tooth in the waterpark on the last day!

Here's our toothless princess.................

We pray that your June was as blessed as ours!
This was one of the final blessings of our June 2011..........

Simply beautiful !!!!!
