December 2016 Update

Merry Christmas from Poland!!!
We are celebrating this important season of celebration with thankfulness!  We are thankful for a baby born to us as a gift, willing to be sacrificed on our behalf.  The story of the Christmas season holds great value only in light of the work He did on the Cross!  What perspective the Cross gives!
Since our last update, we have much to share with you, our prayer supporters!
Our mission team in October came with servants’ hearts and flexible agendas!  Although we desired for them to be among university students alongside our Polish partner, Dagmara, her mother’s surgery  prevented this ministry opportunity……..so we “punted”…..and God blessed!  They hosted a “Texas Evening” at a student dormitory with the help of some other Polish partners, and that provided us with the names and emails of 8 students who expressed interest in possibly studying the Bible together!

This group also assisted us in ministry with teaching Sunday school, men’s Bible study, women’s Bible study, serving our kids’ schools as native English speakers, and street witnessing!  It was a full week!

The weekend that the team departed, we had the opportunity to attend a retreat weekend with our church near the mountains of Poland.  It was a sweet time of fellowship and building relationships!

Here's some pics from our church’s home group Bible study that we attend.  This past week, there were 20+ people present!  Praise God!  This is especially awesome in light of the fact that we are still in search of our own church facility!

For Thanksgiving, we celebrated multiple times!  We had an opportunity to share about our holiday in Arin’s school among 3 classes, then we hosted 8 Poles for a traditional Thanksgiving in our home, then we traveled over the following weekend to celebrate with all the IMBers in Poland, our M family!  During our “sharing what we are thankful for” tradition, we were witness to the evidence of God’s work among the lives of 3 of our Polish guests!  Two of those who shared were the “least likely” to participate, but God really reminded us that HE is at work among this people………..we just need to be available, faithful, and keep our eyes peeled…..so we don’t miss the blessing of being a part of His work!!!

Are you keeping your eyes peeled for evidence of the Father’s hand at work around you?!?!?
Don’t miss out…….jump in and be a part!!!

We are so thankful for your partnership with us on behalf of God’s Kingdom.  We are thankful for your prayers, your words of encouragement to us, your support in sending mission teams, and your faithfulness to give to mission work financially.  Each of these touch us personally.
