our Prayer Warriors!!!
Did you know that's how

We are greatly indebted
to the strength of your prayers on our behalf. We know you can pray more
effectively when you have information, so here is the update on how you can
pray:
Kaleb and Arin have
started school and they are happy to be back in "their school norm"
-- Polish school. I will never be able to relate to them in viewing the
Polish school system as "the norm", but I'm thankful that they feel
at home here.
Their semester so far,
however, has not been without it's challenges. They are having to catch
up on missed information and months without contact with the Polish language,
so we are investing a lot of time in daily homework and making up failed
quizzes. This mom feels like she's a student again.............this time
in a different language. But I'm sure it's helping my Polish skills,
right?!?
As far as ministry, we
are in full swing and trying to keep our heads above water. We have our
home open to Poles 3 nights of the week for fellowship (NFL watching) and
2 Bible studies. Albert's sports seasons have come to a close, but he
still has regular contact with the guys through these weekly events. Kirstin
continues to lead devotions for her bi-monthly mom's group, helps in teaching
Sunday school, and meets one-on-one to disciple Polish young ladies as often as
time allows. As a family, we have been able to join a bi-monthly Bible
study group from our Polish Baptist church.
We have been able to
partner with some excited college students on 2 of the university campuses who
are connected with Campus Crusade. We are helping to host a 4 part series
of Biblical discussions on what the Bible says about some controversial topics
such as immigrants, war, life after death, and the value of life. We are
hoping that these lecture discussions will help us find students, in who's
lives the Lord is already working.
As we move into the
coming weeks, we ask for your prayers as we welcome a mission team from FBC-
San Antonio tomorrow. Pray they will be
strategic in boosting our impact on college campuses in Krakow.
We will have an
opportunity to go away on a retreat with our Polish church at the end of the
month, so pray for language development, spiritual development, and
relationship development!
In November, we plan to
host American style Thanksgiving among our Polish friends to give testimony of
our faith in Christ.
