Christmas Greetings !!!!

Merry Christmas
to each of you !!! In an effort to make our lives most efficient, we are sending our Christmas updates via our new blogspot. We want to use this site as an avenue to keep in contact with you, update you on our lives, share exciting news, as well as pass on prayer needs as we venture into the busy months ahead.

As most of you know, we answered a call to serve as overseas missionaries back in July of 08. We are now in the preparation stages that are needed to be able to make this relocation possible to Krakow, Poland. We will be working with sports evangelism ministries in the city of Krakow, establishing relationships with Poles with hope that we will have the opportunity to introduce them to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We will be heading out to orientation and training with the IMB in Virginia at the end of January. All four of us will have 8 weeks of age appropriate training to make this cross cultural transition and then serve effectively in every capacity the Lord provides. We will have a few days in there to return to Oklahoma and do our final packing. We are scheduled to fly out of Oklahoma City to Krakow, Poland on April 6, 2009!

Kaleb and Arin are growing up beautifully..............in every way !!! Kaleb is 5, attends Pre-K, and has already lost 6 baby teeth ! He still loves to play any game that involves a ball. He tried his hand at soccer, t-ball, and flag football this year...........his favorite part was probably having his Daddy as his coach. He loves music, says the most precious prayers, and still loves to cuddle when he wakes up.

Arin is 3, attends preschool twice a week, and has the most beautiful curls ! She loves to do everything her brother does, even follows him into trouble. She loves Play-doh, dressing up, and dancing. She is not silent very often, but our favorite words are her singing prayers that she improvises daily. Arin had a chance to do ballet and tap this semester, and has proven to be a coordinated work in progress!

Al is teaching Bible at Oklahoma Christian School and coaching multiple sports including basketball, volleyball, and track. Kirstin is working as a pediatric PT a couple of days a week, and serving as Mommy the rest of the time. We are blessed in this season of life, yet we are anxious to wrap up life here in Edmond as we know it and serve Him with our lives in a brand new land.
